The project is dedicated to the themes of memory and forgetfulness. Working with the history of my family, which is connected with the events of revolution of 1917 turn into reflection on the dual, illusory nature of memory, which is subject to constant deformation.
The process of painting represent creation and subsequent destruction of the image by applying numerous layers of paint, primer, pieces of wallpaper. This process becomes a metaphor for remembering and forgetting.
An object in the form of a child's christening shirt with printed fragments from the letter about the rehabilitation of the artist's great-grandfather who was executed in 1927. Fragments of words are transformed into an endless river of letters losing their meaning through time but imprinted on human lives and generations
