About

My practice is focused on existential questions of Being. I work with such basic ontological categories as time, death, freedom, memory, exploring the paradoxes of human existence in the world. I am interested in revealing the phantasmagoric in everyday life, finding failures of the "matrix" of reality, which make one feel its elusive nature.

In my work I use archive materials in order to study the phenomenon of memory and its deformation, tracing how global historical processes are reflected through personal fate.

I use painting, installations, objects to create an integral world on the verge of illusion, filled with metaphors and allegories, where through routine of everyday life one feels anxiety before the absurdity of reality.
